One of the most unrealistic fantasy options that I want to have for VC5 is the ability to have timeless matches with no declarations, no follow-on and all four innings compulsory completed. In real life, such a game would be pointless - but VC5 is not real life. An example would be:
England vs Australia
England 1st innings 788
Australia 1st innings 212
England 2nd innings 544
Australia 2nd innings 300
England wins by 820 runs
Of course in real life, Australia would be forced to follow on or, even if England did decide to bat on, they wouldn't have gone on to score 544.
Another example is this:
India vs Pakistan
India 1st innings 112
Pakistan 1st innings 472
India 2nd innings 70
Pakistan 2nd Innings 321
Pakistan wins by 611 runs
Of course, in real life Pakistan would win by innings and 290 runs after India is dismissed for 70 in its second innings. There's no reason to go and bat again... but in the world of fantasy and computer simulations, they can.
1 point for a win, 1/2 point for a tie. No draws are possible obviously.
